As opposed to companies who offer only organic fertilization, we deliver an organic fertilization and weed control program to our local customers. With 8-applications each year, our NO CONTRACT organic lawn care service is safe and the most effective path to a vibrant and environmentally-friendly lawn.
Is Organic Worth It?
We absolutely think so! Chemical (or synthetic) lawn treatments change the overall makeup of your lawn’s most precious commodity….your soil. Every single year, the chemicals used to control weeds and fertilize lawns come under legal scrutiny for their potential health and environmental hazards. This is a concern for all of us. Our “truly green” organic and pet-friendly lawn care program is the solution.
Our 8-Application Program
We will treat your lawn up to 8 times each calendar year. Depending on the time of year, the treatment will include any of the following applications:
Organic Fertilizer Application: our organic fertilizer is a liquid or granular formula containing high concentrations of nitrogen to give your soil the boost that it needs. Other organic ingredients include fish, seaweed and molasses.
Organic Pre-Emergent Weed Application: our organic pre-emergent treatment consists of corn gluten. This will either be delivered in a granular or a liquid depending on availability. Corn gluten acts as a barrier to prevent weed seeds from germinating.
Organic Post-Emergent Weed Spot Spraying: Using a combination of organic, mineral and natural oil products, we can effectively eliminate existing broadleaf weeds. Due to the high concentrations of minerals and natural oils in our weed treatment, we spot treat broadleaf weeds and do not blanket spray lawns.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM AN ORGANIC LAWN?
Changing a chemically treated lawn to an organic lawn is a transition on the road to good soil health. During the initial transition, you should see very little change in your lawns appearance. If your lawn is already green and healthy, expect more of the same. Although you may see some weeds, just as you would in a chemically treated lawn, you can be confident that organic practices are working to naturally eliminate weeds and that we will employ safe and organic weed control products like corn gluten meal “CGM” and various natural oils to help prevent and treat those weeds through the transition period.
