FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Our organic fertilization & weed control rates are based on turf size in square feet. We use a satellite imagery program to measure your turf square footage and calculate your rate.
Changing a chemically treated lawn to an organic lawn is a transition on the road to good soil health. During the initial transition, you should see very little change in your lawns appearance. If your lawn is already green and healthy, expect more of the same. Although you may see some weeds, just as you would in a chemically treated lawn, you can be confident that organic practices are working to naturally eliminate weeds and that we will employ safe and organic weed control products like “CGM” and various natural oils to help prevent and treat those weeds through the transition period.
Yes….We do provide a warranty on our landscaping services.
We offer a 1-year warranty on trees and a 1-month warranty on shrubs and perennials. We do not warranty annuals. This warranty will cover the cost to remove and replace the dead plant due to a defect in workmanship. This warranty does not cover plants that have died due to over or under watering, unknown soil deficiencies (unless we have performed a soil test), insect infestation, acts of nature or vandalism.
For hardscaping, we provide a 1-month warranty on workmanship. This warranty will cover the cost to repair or replace the stone and/or mortar due to a defect in workmanship. This warranty does not cover stone and/or mortar cracks due to soil swelling or elevation shifting.
We accept checks, credit and debit cards.
- “Pay As You Go” customers will be billed the same day services are completed. We will charge the card on file and email you a receipt for these services.
- “Annualized Billing” customers will be billed monthly. These monthly invoices are payable either by the 1st or the 15th of the month, according to your “Lawn Care Details”.
- One-time or Landscaping invoices are due upon job completion.
If a customer invoice goes unpaid more than 48 hours after the invoice due date, a $10 late fee will be added to the invoice. See our Billing Page for more detailed information.
No….We do NOT require a contract for organic fertilization & weed control services.
No….We treat existing weeds with minerals such as iron and natural oils like clove, cinnamon, orange and wintergreen to name a few. These natural oils are highly concentrated (not like what you would find in the grocery store) and Natural Organic Program (NOP) Compliant and/or carry an EPA 25b exempt “minimum risk” classification. What that means is that the EPA has determined that these certain “minimum risk” natural oils used as pesticides pose little to no risk to human health or the environment.
